Observation Week

Classes are offered 6 days a week for children, ages 2-1/2 thru college. Terrific Twos, Tiny Tots, Kinderdance, Danceworks and classes in tap, ballet, pointe, jazz, lyric, modern, and hip-hop dance make up the weekly program. Call the studio for days & times that may be appropriate for your child.

All students are expected to conform to all studio rules.

MAKE-UP SCHEDULE

Below is this year's make-up schedule. Weekly attendance is mandatory. Students have the opportunity to make up within one month of an absent date.

  • Children with perfect attendance receive a trophy at the dance recital.
  • All absences must be made up within one (1) month of the missed class.
  • No make ups allowed during observation week.
  • Any student that is late 3 times, needs to attend a make up class for perfect attendance. AFTER 6 TARDIES, THE STUDENT WILL NO LONGER BE ELIGIBLE FOR A PERFECT ATTENDANCE TROPHY.
  • Dancers may make up a class in advance of a planned absence (family vacation, school trips, etc).
  • No make ups allowed after March 31st without a doctors note.
  • Generally, the first class listed as a possible make up most closely matches in level and technique.
  • Please DO NOT call the studio for make up times. Refer to the list below. Any questions regarding make-ups should be asked during class time.

Class Calendar

Classes will begin on Wednesday September 3rd and run through early May. Our dance recital is also held in early May. The exact date is set and posted at the studio in early December.

**The studio is closed and regular classes will not be held on the following days:

Veteran's Day Tues. Nov. 11th
Thanksgiving Break Wed. Nov. 26th thru Sat. Nov. 29th
Christmas Break Mon. Dec. 22nd thru Sat. Jan. 3rd

Observation Week

Four (4) observation weeks are scheduled throughout the year on the first class in the month of November, February, March, and April. Observation days allow parents to keep abreast of their child's progress. Absolutely no brothers or sisters at these classes.

Street shoes, sneakers and boots are not allowed in the dance studios. Parents are asked to remove shoes on observation days.


Our first observation week will begin on Saturday, November 1st.
